3CX Blind and Attended Transfers

Attended Transfers

Attended transfers allow you to remain on the line and make sure the call is picked up before completing the transfer

Webclient

  1. While on a call, click "Att Transfer"

  2. Enter the extension you would like to transfer to and dial, or select if from the contacts list. 

  3. Once the transfer recipient picks up, click "Join", and the call will be transferred to the new extension. 

    1. If the transfer recipient does not pick up, you can end the call and return to the original caller. 

Desk Phone

  1. When on a call, press the "Transfer" button.

  2. Dial the extension you are transferring to, and press "AttTrnf"

  3. Once the transfer recipient picks up, press the "Transfer" button again and the transfer will complete

    1. If the transfer recipient does not answer, press "Cancel" and you will return to the original call. 

Blind Transfers

Blind transfers send the call to the recipient without overhead, so you don't monitor whether the recipient answers the transfer or not. If they do not, the original caller will go to the recipients voicemail.

  1. While on a call, click the "Transfer" button

  2. Enter the extension you would like to transfer to and dial, or select if from the contacts list.
  3. Once transferred, the call will continue until with the transfer recipient answers or goes to voicemail. 

Desk Phone

  1. When on a call, press the "Transfer" button.
  2. Dial the extension you are transferring to, and press "BlindTrnf"

  3. Once transferred, the call will continue until the transfer recipient answers or goes to voicemail.
