Two Factor VPN authentication

The ManageEngine ADSelfServicePlus is what will be used to send Push Notifications for VPN Sign In. 

NOTE: Once set up, this method of 2FA can also be used for computer sign in and Activedirectory.schomp.com log in. 

From here, Push Notification 2FA should be set up. This is a requirement when using the VPN, but it can also be used as a 2FA method for computers and activedirectory.schomp.com login.

Download and sign into the ManageEngine ADSelfServicePlus App.

The ManageEngine ADSelfServicePlus is what will be used to send Push Notifications for VPN Sign In. 

If you have already downloaded the app and are having issues with enrollment, Click Here.

  • Download the ADSelfServicePlus App onto your phone.
    • iOS Download: Link Here
    • Android Download: Link Here
    • Make sure notifications are turned on for the app.

  • Sign into the ADSS App
    • Press Login
    • Press OK
    • Press "Scan QR Code" in the bottom left
    • Scan this QR code
    • Press Yes
    • Sign in with your Computer Username and Password
    • Important: Once logged in, you will be brought to  the "Change Password" screen as it is the app's default landing page. You do not need to change your password to proceed, this page exists for computer password change convenience. 
    • Press the profile icon in the top left and select "Enrollment"
    • On the Enrollment page, select the "Push Notification" tab, make sure "Push Notification Authentication" is enabled, and then press "Update" in the top right.


Signing into the VPN

The VPN sign-in remains mostly unchanged. You will still sign in with your computer username and password.

  • Once you sign into the VPN, you will get notification on your phone. Press the notification to open the app.

  • Once in the app, press "OK" to the login request popup.

  • On the new page, press "Accept" and you will be logged into the VPN.
